Re: Geoff and Pat Fuller
I don't know the mark, but Brian Andrew and Paul Young spring to mind

Re: Geoff and Pat Fuller
Thanks Naomi. I contacted Paul Young to ask if it was his...looked like it could possibly be an early plate. Unfortunately he said it's not his (very good of him to respond so quickly though). He suggested Geof Fuller or Ros Smith as possibles...just following those up.

Re: Geoff and Pat Fuller
I'm pretty sure it's Geoff Fuller. He's in Wardlow Mires, Peak District, not too far away. I've emailed to ask for sure.

Re: Geoff and Pat Fuller
Agreed. Not much of Geoff Fullers stuff online unfortunately; he mainly makes it for his own use at the pub and sell the surplus at the annual festival.

The Wardlow Mires Festival (September 10-11th 2016) is where you can see some Geoff Fuller and others: http://www.potsandfood.co.uk/

Re: Geoff and Pat Fuller
Pat Fuller replied to my email. She said "this plate is from our original standard-ware range, thrown by me and decorated by Geoff." This range is no longer made and Pat concentrates more on her own work.

Re: Geoff and Pat Fuller
All the Geoff Fuller pieces I've seen are unmarked. I suspect the footprint is from a pet cat

Re: Geoff and Pat Fuller
Pat Fuller has a P. mark that is very similar to Polperro and Pickering Potteries marks

Re: Geoff and Pat Fuller
Thanks Naomi, I've seen pat's mark now and pinned it for future ref!
When I bought Geoffs plate there were another 2 I left at the shop, bought this one because it was the only one with a mark! I would have bought the fish decorated one, which I really liked if I'd known it was the family cat!

Re: Geoff and Pat Fuller
I think there's some confusion here. The cat only decorated the plate you bought and it marked - the fish decorated one was decorated by Geoff.
Pretty impressive to be able to train a cat to do that.

Re: Geoff and Pat Fuller
Confusion is an understatement SP, I need to read through my replies before posting!...so the cat decorated this plate and marked it, we've established that, and the fish decorated plate wasn't actually done by his cat or his fish!
