In the UK we usually think it is from the USA when marked 925. If it was British it would have been fully hallmarked i.e. maker's mark, standard silver mark, the assay office mark and the date letter.

I think you are right DD. 925 tends to be European and when it's from the USA it usually says STERLING. My mistake.

It is by David-Andersen of Oslo, Norway around 1925.... my best bargain this year so far
