Re: colibri lighters
It's over 20 years ago but I used to deal quite a lot in lighters and the majority went over to Japan. I had 2 or 3 dealers come over every month or so. I also supplied about 25 to be used in the film, Evita.
I'm not very mechanical but enjoyed cleaning and mending them.
They look a very good find.

I am very, very pleased with them. The one with the clock stokes my other collecting passion and has a wonderful swiss movement. Clocks, of course can be fixed, but I have no idea where I would get a glass for the front of it if I needed one.

I thought all the colours had been worn away but today a beam of sunlight hit it and the colours lit up. Some are faded but you can see what was there on most of the logos.
