Found today this beautiful miniature vase. Only 9cm tall. I think, looking at the base it could be (I'm hoping) quite old.
Thought I'd post some pictures to see if anyone knew anything which could help.....I'm pretty confident I haven't got a hobby potter again!
Any info would be much appreciated.

With that rough deep foot I would say Japanese c1900

These often had applied thin metallic bird motifs, which wear away,
the Oxblood glazes seem to be more common
