Hi all i have a glass mug....with a gold band round the rim..its wearing off ..is it easy to renew ?

No but it's easy to get the rest off, which may look better?

Just been reading someone's blog about their attempts at gilding glass. Very technical and you'd need a lot of chemicals and equipment not to mention gold leaf. As Denby says, it's far easier just to take off the remaining gilding; you'd have to do that anyway if you were regilding
