I HAVE JUST PURCHASED THIS FLOOR LAMP. THERE ARE NO MARKS OR ANY INDICATION OF MANUFACTURER OR COUNTRY OF ORIGIN. THE ONLY CLUE IS ON THE INLINE ON/OFF SWITCH ON THE CABLE. THE SWITCH APPEARS BAKELITE OR SIMILAR IN APPEARANCE AND HAS THE WORDS ARGENTINA REPUBLIC ON THE REVERSE SIDE. SPANISH CONNECTION PERHAPS. ANY IDEAS WOULD BE WELCOME.
