Re: Kwai Lau, London
Kwai Lau was born in China in 1967. She attended Wolverhampton School of Art and then the Royal Academy Schools.
She lived in London and may well still do so but hasn't really made a name for herself in the art world, despite a number of awards in her early career. Since then she only appears to have exhibited in group shows and has had items in the RA Summer exhibition on occasions.

Re: Kwai Lau, London
Brilliant, thank you.
I had a dealer try to tell me it was by a U.S.- based artist named Kwok Wai Lau who was a tutor at the Chicago School of Art and Palm Springs Museum but doesn't have a contact address so may have gone back to the Far East. I pointed out the difference in the signature but they said 'artists change their signatures...' . Hmmmmm.
