I thought Tonala but cannot find this name on the list of people who worked there.

Also the pallet seems too limited for Mexican pottery.

I think it says S Mord? décor 73.

The pattern is glossy but the ground matt like eggshell.

Does anyone recognise it Thanks.

My first thought was Tonala/Mexico, but I don't know who SMORD is. French is another possibility.
