11 inches high, cased clear, graduated cloudy green, solid base.
They seem to do mainly lighting now, can't find this one anywhere,
any ideas on date or designer?

Murano Mazzega Glass Empty Vintage spiral lamp base - Murano or Czech? - MAZZEGA

Hi

I have here a lovely vintage glass lamp base with a sommerso style centre with red spirals and black lines. I thought it was Murano but the remains of the label on the base looks like its possibly Czech.

I HAVE JUST STUDIED THE LABEL AND I THINK IT MIGHT SAY MAZZEGA I.V.R - Anyone agree?

Any ideas?

A label like that might equally be a Retailer's one.

I contacted the factory direct and they have confirmed it was made by them.
