Large tublined Tile Empty Large tublined Tile

couldn't resist this yesterday from the car boot. The "dealer" lol informed me that it was French because of the size (12" x 8") and possibly Limoges. It is signed at the bottom. Wondering if anyone has seen anything like this before? Colour is not so bright on image as I had to take without the flash....how cute are the chicks Happy

Looks very like the "MAW" majolica revival tiles by Johnson Bros, but they are always
square, (or multiples), and framed.

there is no mark on back to suggest MAW, I just bought it cus of the chicks lol

from what the chap was telling me it was the French who started doing the larger tiles, I can't find anything similar to what I have at the moment

I live in France and we have that size tile but I have not seen anything like you chicks! I will keep looking.
