Hello, I believe this is an inkwell - possibly French. Does anyone recognise the mark? Thank you...

French "Decor Rouen" One of the Fourmaintraux marks. It should have an insert well
with a little cap, often missing.

Small sucrier with Geo Martel mark

Nice, but it looks a little small for a sucrier, I think it's a moutardier, for mustard.
Great to have the original lid! don't worry about the chips, it's an old piece.

The French woman who sold it to me went with sucrier so I followed. But I think you might be right (don’t tell her though. She asked for only 2 euros so of course she was right).
