Blue Elephant - Price Bros (not SylvaC or Beswick)

This elephant came in with a variety of Sylvac and Bourne Denby pieces. Not marked other than Made in England, the finish looks very familiar, but I am really not sure which factory?

yes did cross my mind. But it is a nicer finish than their matt glaze, more like stoneware. Did Bourne Denby make elephants?

Moulding, glaze, mark, clay and way the eyes are painted look right for Price Bros to me to be honest.

Denby did do elephants, but I've not seen one like this.

There was a black and white picture somewhere online with quite a few of the animal figures they did, not sure if elephant was one of them. Think it was on an American sales website.

Hi,

I bought this small jug because I like the blue glaze on it.

I'm wondering about "Price England". I've seen similar things by Gibsons, but didn't find anything about "Price" yet (hard to search on Google for a word like "price" indeed).

Smallish but pleasant item.
