Modern studio pottery bowl based very loosely on Japanese Meiji or Chinese Karak Blue & White porcelain.
Marked on the base with a couple of Kanji characters.
Edited to say I've come across more pieces and it seems to be a modern Japanese manufacturer making 'handmade-style' pots.
Possibly 和山 Wazan Kiln
