Anyone know who made this, sadly I can't quite make out the impression on the base.

My first thought was Peggy Foy. Then I thought the mark might be a bee which is Paula humphrys mark, but it looks more like a dragon so might be Welsh.

I seem to remember Peggy Foy used white clay.

Could it be a winged horse (Pegasus) rather than a dragon?

It's Russian. There were a couple on eBay recently, with a label saying 'Handmade in Russia'

Well done - so it is, now I had more to go on I've found some. Looks like it's classed an Russian Majolica, by Natalia Pavlova. Sadly I can't find a listing with a backstamp, shame as it would be good to id that logo.
