Is this a Flygsfors Glass bowl or something else?
Hi,
I'm having difficulty identifying this glass bowl. Looks like Flygsfors, but I'm not sure. It is made in an amber yellow color cased in clear. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Ron

All the Flygfors I have ever had were signed to base so if I see something akin to it that is not signed I always assume that it is not.

A lot of copies have been imported from China and Poland.

No, this isn't a copy from Poland or China. I can tell by the quality of the glass and the finish on the bottom of the piece. Definitely has some age

Maybe....I just assumed Scandinavian, so I'll check my Italian glass books

Most likely Bayel, they made many like this. Another possibility is Ryd.

I'm pretty sure this is Magnor of Norway. I have had several in Cobalt blue and clear too.

Hi 20th century boy,
I'm not sure, this one seems to have a more sculpted shape than the Magnor that I've seen so far, but I will look a little further. I did think that some of the Ryd bowls were close.
Thanks!
