Trefor Owen, Maentwrog, Harlech, Wales, Cross & T mark (Not Taena or Towy)

Seen a mug with this mark attributed to Maggie Barnes, but her style is normally very different. I don't know if she made domestic wares. The T mark isn't in Yates-Owen.

I wondered if the t was for Towy Pottery and the other a personal seal? It is a guess.

Hello, I had this pair for a while but consistently failed to identify it, it is circled impressed cross, akin to Lewis Groves/Taena pottery BUT this cross is impressed in a different way. The large one has 2 marks, the smaller one only one.
Any guidance/advice is greatly appreciated, thank you!

Studio teapot with two impressed marks - one is like Maggie Barnes' quartered circle, the other like a 't'; can't find any likely contenders in my ancient Yates-Owen & Fournier. Any suggestions please?

Yes I'd considered Taena but neither that, nor the Towy marks look quite right.

And as for that tiny pot, Mr JPW, mine's bigger than yours!

That is a possibility worthy of further investigation. I have a feeling the teapot has long gone - probably offloaded at a car boot.

Gone but never forgotten....at least as long as Servimg remember the photos.

That many crosses in circles marks, but one day we will get to the bottom
of these, To wit the CHS conundrum.
One nailed down, the alex sharp, but several to go yet!

I’ve only ever seen earthenware pieces from Taena.
