Highland Stoneware, Scotland
Although the pieces are hand decorated I don't think it qualifies as studio pottery. They're very like Gwili Pottery in Wales, and Dartington-Grayshott, using standard blanks which are hand decorated by various artists using a set number of designs.
From their website: "Highland Stoneware pottery is situated in the North-West Highlands of Scotland. It was formed in 1974..." - doesn't say who by.
Their different designs can be found here:

Although I agree that this is the place for the pottery to be, there is a studio pottery connection.
Around 2003 they produced a celadon glazed porcelain tea set to a design by David Leach, who was a friend of man who had set up the pottery, David Grant.
I think that these were done in very limited numbers possibly because the teapot and milk jug had to be thrown in the old fashioned way.

They are a bit like Dartington with their limited editions with artists' monograms. Definitely worth looking out for those.

Interesting - ".... many special peices made for exhibitions or by visiting artists such as Eduardo Paolozzi, Kaffe Fassett and Eric Marwick."

They are becoming highly collectable, very like Dartington and with artists commissioned to design for the company.

Not seen that design before Naomi.
Not in the book, nor the signature, so must be a fairly new one

I think its an early one. It was a present from my brother a while back, I think. My memory's not that good on such things.

I thought I'd got rid of it but found it in the back of the cupboard. I suspect it wasn't a popular design.

It's nicely painted but a factory second because of a firing crack on the foot rim.
