triangular lamp base marked DC - David Cann, Stanford-le-Hope Empty triangular lamp base marked DC - David Cann, Stanford-le-Hope

Any thoughts please on this lamp base please. Only mark I can see which is similar is David Cann who apparently was at Stanford-le-Hope, Essex, which is only about 15 miles from where I found this, but I can't find any examples of his work. All suggestions appreciated.

Can't find anything either, but does seem right from the description of his work in Yates-Owen.
