Left to right, top shelf has Studio pin dish, Y. Carol Cutler dish, early bowl and a bud vase painted by myself at an open day, with a Carol Cutler spear in front.
Bottom shelf has a Mark Baker (Tradpots) carved vase, studio 10", Carol Cutler carved vase, Shirley Campbell Delphis 10" and modern studio Nikki Masserella carved vase. 2 x 8" in front, the one on the left a blue mark by Margaret Anderson which I got last week at Portobello market and the one on the right is Jean Millership.
Hi Gareth, Really like your collection, I'm so jealous of the Margaret Anderson Plate there, bottom shelf second pot from the left - is wish I had one like that.

Atlantis range candle holder, decorated with copper/iron oxide after carving
Hi Dan - just saw your post there. I've got one similar to that - its the only Atlantis pot I own - but i didn't realise it was a candle holder. Mine has a glazed bowl so I always thought it should stand on the foot, but now not I'm unsure. How do you know it is a candle holder and where do the candles fit?
Hi Rob
These are multi-functional pieces - one way up they are a pin dish but when you turn them over they become candle holders. This is why the Poole mark is usually in the hole in the base - so when used as a candle holder the candle hides the mark and and the piece does look to be upside down. All very clever.

Thanks Kurt, I've learnt something there - I might upend mine for a change now.
Info request for brown and white Poole bowl
I am looking for some info on this Poole bowl, it looks sort of 1970s to me but that is probably just the colour. It is about 27cm in diameter and is marked Poole England on the back.
Thanks,
John

Sea crest tableware designed by Guy Sydenham and Tony Morris,Guy and Tony used similar glaze effects in their studio pottery.
The odd coloured piece is an early studio vase.
