Art Nouveau Plaster or Chalkware bust, 2nd try with photos

Hi All,
Second try, hopefully my photos will be successful this time!.

I'm new to this forum, & I'd like to say thanks in advance for your help. I look forward to learning & enjoying other member's treasures. I have a small collection of Lenci figures as well as French perfume lamps, so hopefully I can be of some assistance along the way.

This bust is 24" & quite heavy. It has a signature that I've gone a little bit crazy trying to ID, I'm hoping someone might recognize it, or suggest where I can do some research.

I've had a look online but not found a similar piece. Most of them are French copies of bronze busts. This doesn't quite fit the style. Maybe it's later? Or American?

I think that it was produced in the States but probably period.
