It was set up by John & David Bishop in 1973 at Clevedon, both of whom had done their training at Fishley Holland Pottery from what I've just read.

The work I have seen with this mark has had some resemblance to Fishley Holland Pottery, so it seems to fit.

Sheldon Pottery

"Bishop brothers originally threw for William Fishley Holland, when that closed they set up Sheldon pottery behind the Curzon Cinema in Clevedon Somerset and later one of the bothers potted a the Clevedon craft centre"
