Hoping someone can help with this pot. Round at rim it becomes octagonal with alternate panels having incised flower motifs. Seller claimed it was Pebmarsh Pottery but I can find no trace of this. The mark is very indistinct, to my  eyes anyway, but could just possibly be JR. The piece appears to have been quite proficiently made. 4 1/2 inches diameter x 3 3/4 inches tall. All thoughts and suggestions much appreciated John

I think you'll find there may be a pottery in Mill Lane, Pebmarsh in Essex
