Studio Pottery Vase /Jug Westcoast? anyone recognize

Anyone recognize this Studio Pottery Vase /Jug , it's signed but I don't know the signature. Acquired in Oregon, assuming it's west coast. Measures about 13". Any ideas on this piece? Thanks in advance for any info.

Looks like last two figures in the signature are 79 - possibly the date. Also looks like a K before that. Maybe a pencil rubbing on paper over the signature would add to clarity. I sometimes find that things show up that I didn't see before. Also, is there something else signed on the other side?

Yes, marked on the opposite side as well, all but the date is indecipherable even with the rubbing.

The opposite side is illegible as the front.
