I'm guessing this may be German, but there's no mark whatsoever. Anyone recognize it? It's approximately 5"x5"x5"

It might be Danish, but I'd expect a mark. Alternatively, it could be Italian, imported by Raymor (mid century, modern), some pieces had a label rather than a mark because the retailers didn't want their competitors to know where it had come from.
However, from the photos it doesn't seem to have much age to it, so it might be a Chinese import, retailed by The Pier or Cargo or Pottery Barn.

Thank you for taking a look. It is not a new piece, but certainly could be Italian, based on the glaze and weight of the piece. I'll keep digging Happy

It's a lovely shape. Habitat and some of the supermarkets are selling similarly shaped vases but they have a foot rim and sgraffito lines down the sides.

Personally, I wouldn't bet on it not having been made yesterday.

the glaze type, from what i can see in the photo, reminded me of the egg shell look glaze on some Italian Futurist ceramics from Albisola.

Alternatively, someone more modern like Harrison McIntosh? I've never seen any in the flesh, just pics on the internet.
