ID the Technique
Hello!
I picked up these two pieces they are completely unmarked however Im more concerning about the term of the technique used to decorate them. Has anyone seen this type of application before? It almost reminds me of the effect inked bubbles cause when they explode on a white surface or possibly a drip of ink being blown with a fan across the piece. I am assuming its a student piece on a couple of blanks but Im not sure.
I've included a photo of the bottom just in case anyone's curious. Thanks!

Re: ID the Technique
Looks to me as though the trails of glaze have been blown on, maybe with a straw, to produce these patterns

Ah yes, with a straw, that makes sense. You'd get a lot more control over the design that way as well. I can definitely see it. Thanks!
