Stoneware bowl with Turkey, H mark and incised JC mark Empty Stoneware bowl with Turkey, H mark and incised JC mark

Description: 185mm x 80mm footed stoneware bowl. Bare stoneware under and a glazed turkey decoration in the bowl on a deep green speckled brown ground. Has a new looking H in a circle mark - impressed and a inscribed 'JC' ?

Wish I could say it was 50p but I paid £12.....did I buy a turkey? Why did I buy a turkey?

Anyone?

TY All. Potty normally knows? Potty? If not then I'll use it for my cornflakes. It was the strong and confident throwing marks that attracted me on the reverse.

Does the H have a dot between the verticals and above the horizontal?

No, no dot. very clean. Perhaps quite recent? I just get the feeling that it's not more than ten or twenty years old. Perhaps new?
