Tall combed vase - East German? Empty Tall combed vase - East German?

Tall vase with combed decoration. Unmarked.
Seems harder than earthenware. Stoneware or Porcelain?
Doesn't seem to be slip cast or wheel turned; possibly made in 3 sections (top, middle, bottom).
It's not new. Possibly 60s-70s-80s
I'm wondering if it's German or Japanese.

Cheers.
Found a similar shaped vase with a stripey decoration, listed as  "Art pottery vase by Ü-Keramik. Decor Nadja from 1956. Form number: 255-30" but as mine is unmarked I'm assuming it's not by that manufacturer.

Oriental is still a possibility.
