Based on the Isle of Wight, Pauline's style has changed since she started potting in the 70s.
Initially it was brown studio pottery typical of the Leach style, before developing her iconic barium glazed porcelain whose shapes are cast from found objects.

I would say your gourd shaped pot is actually a sea sqirt shaped pot

(and I absolutely love it!)

Well Pauline called it a Gourd, probably because she modelled it from a real gourd.  She casts all her moulds from real objects, and sea squirts would be a bit too small and squishy. Happy

She's thinking of retiring this year, so if you want one, check the galleries before they run out of stock.

It was from ebay some months back, was mislisted and think i paid around £15 for it.

I've know of her pots for a few years and always liked the shells best, but it's the first I ever saw on ebay.
