Hi I have just started collecting ceramics and really don't know how to begin so I am just buying things that catch my eye.
Recently I bought this whistling Egg Cup and these retro animals at a sale of house contents.

I have no idea what or how old they are or if they are worth collecting.

So I was wondering if anyone on the forum would be so kind as to ID them for me.
Some of the animals are marked "Italy" and some have no mark.

I suspect the whistling egg cup is 1950s Japan. They like novelty items like that.
