Celadon Elephant Vase, Thailand

6" high celadon vase which I am told is Chinese.  Can anyone confirm please with poss date?

Found one, listed as  A Thai Sawankhalok Celadon Elephant Jar.
 That was a 16th Century original with feet and a Dynasty mark on the base, whereas this has a flat base and is unsigned, and other differences in the decoration, so it may be a later copy or made by a different potter.

Needs to be professionally appraised.

If you're near Woolley & Wallis they could take a look. Otherwise one of the big London ones - I believe they visit the provinces every so often.
But I expect it's a 19th Century copy.

oh blimey they are all miles from me.  I wonder if I emailed them they might be able to help

Looks like fairly modern far east to me to be honest, I'm no expert and I hope I'm wrong.
