Any info on this , it's for a friend's daughter , she has a tea set in a hinged box , this piece is egg shell thin and 6cm , high, I thought deffo tourist and probably a £10 for the set is all it would be worth

He said the set ,Pot etc , is in green wooden box each piece in greaseproof type paper .

As you've said it's Japanese eggshell porcelain. Possibly arita-yaki

As for value, if it's the complete set including teapot they might get around £50
