Does look a bit like it should have had some sort of stopper / lid. Shrugs

S-P there is a piece on this site with her painted mark and looks verry similar to me , also she likes her drip glazes , i maybe wrong but then again .

I agree with Studio Potts. The pots I've seen have a grey clay and 'Arden' beneath the monogram, and the B and C are separate.
I would still look for a potter with a BL monogram.

Because I have a bowl with the very same monogram which also has the word 'York' beside the initials. Also the style is quite characteristic. The combination of BC and York in this style I think clinches it.
