ID another one from the 50's Vase
Here's another one I remember as a child ( I'm 51) this one actually is what got me going through my boxes I've had packed away for decades , Some time back I swear they had a vase that look just like this on Antiques Roadshow needles to say it was in the last box I opened
There are no marks that I can see
I am grateful for any information

Re: ID another one from the 50's Vase
It was suggested that I hold it up to the sunlight and if makes it look purple, then it is have amethyst glass
Its a small vase so I was able to cover my one eye with the opening of the vase to where it was totally dark and look up straight into the sun, then I could see purple around the upper rim (the widest part of the vase) It was faint but there , a deep rich purple
Wish I could move this to the "I D my glass" section
