A very pleasing looking teapot.
He was closed on the day that I passed by so I bought my first piece of studio pottery up the road from Frank Smith.

Lol!. I should probably group my Solly, Smith, Townsend, Sharp and Rye pots together, so they don't get lonely.

Slipware plate by John Solly, personally inscribed to Kenneth Clark (famous for his experiments with tiles).
A lot of Clark's stuff has been sold off since his death in 2011, and the dealer found this in a box of his effects.
(Solly has misspelt Clark)
