Watercolour painting of horses signed marj

I'm hoping someone maybe familiar with this artist and can identify her. I've tried googling the painting but not had much luck.

It's signed Marg, short for Margaret.
The horses are very 'stiff' and the background is rather perfunctory. Plus they haven't signed it with their full name, so I would say it's by an amateur.

In my day Marg was short for Margery but whatever her name I do agree that it is the work of an amateur.

where i'm from, Peg is short for Marge, but i don't think you'd say it was short for hydrogenated vegetable fat.

Being yellow she could pass for butter as well as a woman but being a cartoon character lets her down on this one.
