stoneware jug, SP mark - Peter Stoodley?

stoneware flask/jug with potter's mark SP or PS?
An impressed daisy flower head decoration on the looped handle but this is obscured by a thick glaze
any help tracking down the maker would be appreciated

Looks quite like the mark for Peter Stoodley, not sure of his style, but might be worth a bit of digging

yes Peter was suggested a few years ago but his work seems more African in it's style
