As you seem to have picked up some of these at Newbury Boot Fair, I half jokingly googled Newbury Pottery.
There does appear to have been one started there of that name in 1994 by John Hedges, who still pots but in New Jersey. Do you know of him?

I don't know how long ago he moved to the States but potter's change their style, especially when trying to appeal to a new set of customers.
