Is this British pottery? does anyone know this mark?

i just got a responds from Nancy Angus is not by this potter but stated although the mark is similar to his mark... :)

MMMmm , yeah ! she would say that wouldn't she , she's probably in denial

you might be right ed... sometimes potters make an item and they aren't satisfy with the finish of their work when you ask them they deny their work in as much it has the same maker mark on it :(

anyway to end it... it don't fit with my oriental collection and my potteries so gave it away to my brother as a gift

I think ed's just joking, I doubt a potter would actually lie about their work, even if they were not pleased with it.

Many potters use what look like the "same maker mark".
