Could some one please help in idenrifying themaker of the 2 vases i have with a scrolled impressed stamp

Googled spiral mark and it threw up a reference to Alan Gaff of the Appin pottery, on the Ceramike forum.
If you check out Alan Gaff on the StudioPottery.co.uk website you'll see a teapot and cups with similar style of decoration, but there are significant differences, and I don't know his mark, so that's not a positive id.

I have a vague memory of a welsh studio potter with a spiral mark.
