Querubim Lapa (Portugal)

Querubim Lapa was born in 1925 and is one of the most relevant portuguese ceramists of the 20th century. He works till today keeping a workshop at Viuva Lamego - http://www.viuvalamego.com/default1.html

Section of the Comptoir Suisse panel (1957)

This is a section of a panel made to be a part of the portuguese pavilion at the "Comptoir Suisse" in 1957.
It depicts a mermaid surrounded by fish, representing the sea products.
