Silver Clan Buckles

Some Scottish halmarked silver clan buckles bought years ago and sold some on eBay - posting photos here if any interest to anyone on board.

Some dates I know others I am unsure of.

Edinburgh 1856? Not sure of this ones date - any ideas?



Inverness no actual date but 1900s?

Vey nice Most Excellent

I must say that I was surprised to see the mottos for Scottish clans written in Latin; I would have expected them to be in a Celtic tongue.
