Signed Studio Glass Beaker

Post by Potty on Fri Jun 24, 2011 10:51 pm

Saw this at a charity shop and really fell for it.

What I really like is the fast that the glass has been blown, yet the decoration is inside the glass itself, I don't know anything much about glass, but I assume this would be a hard technique to pull off?

I'd be very interested to know who made it and what this technique is called please?

I suppose the technique would be 'graal' if it's contained within the glass. No idea on the signature, though. Sorry.

Interesting item. Happy

Thanks for the info Nic.

I'm not really that into glass ( like a lot of types of glass, but can't collect everything Cheeky ) but this is my new fav piece.
