Porzellanmanufaktur Helmut Krüger (Germany)
Can someone help me identifying this small dish?
It's probably obvious but I'm such an ignorant...
As the pictures are not so good, the mark is a K and what seems like a big X.
Thanks.

I'd say it was crossed L's rather than an x, but don't know who it's by sorry.

can I ask a question? can I add my piece on this thread rather then make a new thread, i can see two or even three pros and cons, so if a mod could let me know, i can follow that lead. I have read FAQ's, and several permanent posts, so will follow forum code.
Cheers

Re: Porzellanmanufaktur Helmut Krüger (Germany)
Well, I had a look at my south american, and my french airline dishes, i also deal in so much 19th century glassware, it took me a while too even feel I could be an asset, rather then just ask everyone to id this that and the other.
I did check my blue glazed similars, but no weee-o.
In the airline glass industry and 20th century we are speaking of, not digressing to anything other then 20th. I find that many airlines change potters, glassmakers, and many of the early work was high quality, where now it can be subbed out to much smaller potters and much lower prices, or even larger potters, at even lower price points.
However I could not match any backstamps to anything I hold.
That pattern and glaze was very airline industry copied, and could be from a inflight piece to a sales office piece. However hard it will be for the owner,
i would chalk it up to a nice piece.
sorry i could not be of any help.
pleasure to meet you skay.
i will show a small piece i got today, and see if i can get a bit of intrest.
thanks for the advice.

crossed L's from where?

I found some marks with cross L's like these, mostly from England, Bavaria and Holland, none had a small K at the center.
Any ideas?
It's done!
I just found out that this dish was made by the Porzellanmanufaktur Helmut Krüger in Berlin, and this mark was used between 1954 and 1971.
