The bottom 3/4 of the vase is a documented and not uncommon Riihimaki form... but I've never seen one with that second bulging section before. Weird.

I don't know - it could be a less-common shape that didn't receive much in the way of UK export - I don't really keep abreast of Riihimaki designs beyond what I see at UK fairs and shops.

I don't doubt that it's Riihimaki, though.

Thanks,there were a few pieces by Aladin that were similar in areas but nothing exactly the same although the maker's name is information enough as I'm not a glassy Most Excellent
