any ideas please large multi colour american vase

I realise that this may be later than most people collect but if anyone has any ideas I would be grateful. I bought this last year and was told that it was by a quite well known American, but I can't for the life of me remember who. It is signed and dated 05 but even blowing photo up I can't make out signature. I did think that first name possibly Jeremy? It is approx 11 inches tall. Thanks for looking John
