It's definitely not Chance Glass (which would be the obvious thought) so at least we can rule them out. No ideas who might have made it though :(

I thought it may have been Chance when i bought it, but after a bit of research i found it wasn't. As an aside, I drove past the former Chance Brothers Glass works today.

I may be way off the mark, but it rather reminds me of glass produced by Joseph Joseph ( http://www.josephjoseph.com ) about 5 years ago - which was founded by the sons of the owner of Fiesta Glass, which, in turn, bought up Chance's designs in the early 1980s after the factory closed, if memory serves.

Yes, they make kitchen items now (I stock them on my other website) and they did go through a period of making slumped glass a few years back.

I remember a lot of shops being flooded with JJ slumped glass for a while - almost all bearing very 'retro' patterns. They did some funky matching glass wall clocks too - although a little too funky for my decor.

Shame they seem to have dropped those lines now.

Thanks for that, i'll put it to the back of the cupboard then and bring it out in 30 years when 1970's revivalist glass is all the rage.

I'd use it - I think it's rather nice.
