Rosenthal - Bjorn Wiinblad designs

Post by dantheman on Wed Aug 26, 2009 3:06 pm

As we have lots of Wiinblad designs scattered around I thought it was time to start a thread dedicated to all things Wiinblad.

This piece is from the Rosenthal studio-linie,a wonderful shape with fantastic moulded details and tansfer decoration that I guess reflects the time and country in which it was made.

Rather uninspiring design-wise ... boxed pair of Bjorn Wiinblad Studio-Linie egg-cups.

A little 3in gilded porcelain dish with an odd backstamp.
Probably the company's promotional gift ware.

The Mosa plate might be by Mosa of Maastricht. I searched around and i think this is part of a set of plates made for Franklin Mint by the world's great porcelain houses, each plate has a different manufacturer. None of them look the same either.
