'Vertica' vase designed by Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala (Finland) and produced from 1972 to 1975, production number 2756 - made in three different sizes.

'Tsaikka' mould-blown glasses with metal holders designed in 1957 by Timo Sarpaneva. Although the glasses themselves were designed in 1957 the metal mounts didn't go into production until 1964 so we can date these particular glasses to post 1964.

Gold-plated 'Tsaikka' Tea Glass with centrifugally-cast glass saucer. Model 2007.023/07.

These gold-plated glasses were made for only a limited time in 1990 because, although very popular at Christmas, the cost of production proved too high.

i-Series '1-103' 4cl Tumbler (form 2003).
Designed 1956, produced 1956 - 1967.

Iittala, but I'd love to know the designer - I have seem similar-ish ones in photos by Kaj Franck and Timo Sarpeneva but it is hard to tell exactly how similar they are. This one is quite delicate amethyst glass, not thicker or heavier on the base. It measures 14cm (5 1/2") in diameter at the top and has a dimpled base.

It looks to be from the 'i-series', designed by Timo Sarpaneva in the late 1950s. It comprised a series of very thinly-blown tableware (carafes, glasses, etc).

Thank you that is great! Now that I have a search term I've been looking at i-series items at http://www.laatutavara.com and I'm definitely seeing the same colour and the same thinness. Maybe I'll be able to find the exact i series number for it. My first piece by Timo Sarpeneva!
