By Langley Mill pottery - 1930s, though not a design I recall seeing before.

Yes it is a "Canterbury" pattern, made at Langley Mill when they were owned by Denby.

A beautifully carved, decorated and gilded 8 in vase with white grapevines.
"Langle ware" mark used 1883-90, with all the various code letters.

A "Beconsfield ware" vase from 1933, unmarked.

An early carved terracotta jardiniere, unmarked. c1870s/80s

I came across this vase at a car boot at the weekend, but can't seem to find one that looks similar. Does anyone have any more information about the design or age of it.

From the 1930s, There are many new shapes that keep appearing.
Don't recall the shape before, but they made allsorts during this period.

This reminds me of an sgrafitto jardiniere I had for a while... if I remember correctly it was Lovatt Lovatt / Denby from Langley Mill

These smaller Jardinieres are known as fern pots, this will be an earlier one C1900

Can you id my vases Thought they are Doulton Lambeth but impressed makes are England and the round make which looks like an M in the middle

there are similar pieces on sale, they say it is about Lovatt & Langley items. There is either a topic here, about Langley. The pattern is named "daisies".
i'm not a specialist, i looked on internet with google lense :)

Yes they are Langley mill pottery "Daisy ware" flower tubes, early 20th C.

Lovett Langley Pottery blue jar, Art Deco style shape.
I could only find one vase online with this kind of blue speckled glaze. They put the date at 1930s.
Was this glazing not used much? Does 30s sound right and is it a tobacco jar or a kitchen jar?

Yes 1930s, and yes a tobacco jar, they made many designs.
I have seen this glaze on decorative items like vases before.

A stencilled slip pot for Crosse & Blackwell. For pickle or jam maybe, C1900.
Neither mark or pot in the book.

Langley Ware vase, one of several I was fortunate enough to dig out this morning. A plus of the car boot being rained off.
There's no monogram,  unfortunately. But, I'm wondering if this is possibly one by Mary Helen Goodyer?
Either way, it is a stunning piece.
Any info on this is welcomed, thank you.
