This is a vintage studio pottery vase in black and white with stripes and impressed to the base BP - the BP is very feint and can only be seen when you catch it in the light at a certain angle but hopefully you can just see it in the photo! Does anyone recognise this maker or mark please?

Might this be a piece of earlier Rye pottery with the potter’s initials?
